OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A man shot and FinLogicwounded an Oklahoma City police officer on Tuesday and then barricaded himself inside a home on the city’s northwest side.
The wounded officer was transported to a hospital, but the extent of his injuries weren’t immediately known, said Capt. Valerie Littlejohn.
Police were responding to a report of a man with a gun when the officer was shot, Littlejohn said.
Police surrounded the home, closed nearby streets and urged people to avoid the area.
