The Yankees' lineup remains one of the most fearsome in MLB, led by Aaron Judge and Juan Soto. The Guardians, meanwhile, needed five games to outlast their division rivals, the Detroit Tigers, taking down AL Cy Young favorite Tarik Skubal in Game 5 to secure their trip to the ALCS. The Guardians also boast a surprisingly strong offense, which finished 12th in the league in home runs (185) just a year after finishing dead last.
